Welcome! My Name is Liz. I am the founder and the person who handmakes all the items at The Wicker Basket Co. The name wicker basket has a lot of meaning to me. It stands for simplicity. As a wife and mother, simplicity has become a word that has brought such calmness. A wicker basket can be filled with whatever you want it to be filled with. I enjoy DIYS. All kinds of crafts and fun things. Therefore, when thinking of a name for my company, the name The Wicker Basket Co. kept popping up.  

The Wicker Basket Co. is about the simple things. Great customer service, great products, creating things that make you smile. Take our first product for example! Who doesn't smile when they see a cute pup or kitty wearing a bandana?! It's a simple way to make someone's day!

How it started? The Wicker Basket Co.  started with me, a simple sewing machine and a lot of time on my hands due to the ice storm which forced the family to stay indoors for 2 weeks. Before then, I hadn't even sewn a button on. I figured that if I had time to do anything, I wanted to learn a skill that I had put off for far too long. But where to start? Well, that's simple! With 8 dogs and 6 cats, let's make these scrunchie bandanas that has been over running my "for you" page. after all, I spoil my fur babies like crazy anyways! Sure enough, with practice and a few tangled bobbins, I made something that my fur babies don't mind wearing. My husband Jason went out with our basset hound Cooper rocking one of the bandanas and got a lot of questions on where to get them. Being the wonderful supportive promoter he is, proudly said that I made them. I'm sure you know how the rest goes. I will tell you this, scrunchie bandanas are just the beginning

The Goal!  My Husband and I are looking into working with some shelters as we have rescued a lot of our pets. It is very near and dear to our hearts. 

Scrunchie Bandanas These bandanas may have been my starting point but won't be the only things offered. I plan on releasing some fun accessories within the next month! The possibilities are endless. I am excited to see where this leads and even more excited to have you to come along!
